We're going to chat about how TransTape gives back!
We've talked a lot about the product, what it has the potential to do for its users and the gender euphoria so many people have gotten from this amazing product.
But today, we're talking more about this amazing company.
For example, did you know this company was founded by a transgender man named Kaiyote Jackson?
He didn't just start the company, he created the product too!
You may have known that from a previous post if you've been reading for a while, but if you're new here, you're welcome for that trivia knowledge.
That's not the only reason why TransTape is so wonderful, though.
TransTape gives back in many ways.
Artist merchandise program, top surgery fund recipients, grand giveaway contests, remote modeling program, bi-weekly giveaways, donations to organizations, the list keeps going!
We might not hit on every single way TransTape gives back, because wow there are so many ways, but we're definitely going to dig in.
But of course, let me remind you of what exactly TransTape is.

What Is TransTape?
Have you ever cursed the air around you while using your gender affirming gear?
Maybe it pinches, maybe it squeezes, maybe it's restrictive, maybe all of the above.

In all seriousness, TransTape is the ORIGINAL Body Transformation System and uses skin-safe body tape to deliver gender euphoria by replacing binders, bras, gaffs and other gender affirming products.
The tape is made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex with a hypoallergenic medical-grade acrylic adhesive that is latex free and non-medicated.
Phew, out of breath.
Unlike other products, like binders which have 8 hour time limits, you can wear TransTape safely for 3-5 days, through the night and in the shower!
The length of time you can wear TransTape varies between individuals and their preferences, as well as the quality of the application and relationship between their skin and TransTape's adhesive.
Also, don't you dare forget to do a test strip before applying TransTape for the first time.

There's just a few qualifications you gotta meet before you apply!
TransTape Top Surgery Recipient Fund Requirements
You are an active TransTape user.
Your surgery has a scheduled date and is within the next 6 months.
You have an existing crowdfunding campaign.
You consent and are comfortable with your posted photos, videos, and handles to be marketed by TransTape.
If you meet all of those requirements, fill out the application here!
If you are selected after applying, TransTape will promote you for a month on their social media platforms with a code.
When people use the code, their savings will go towards your surgery fund and TransTape will match it!
Pretty damn cool!
Artists
The newest thing TransTape has going on is the artist merch program!
Recently, TransTape began working with a handful of queer artists as another way to give back.
Which is so awesome.
If you're a queer artist, TransTape's merch is definitely meant for you to design.

TransTape's Education and Outreach Coordinator Quyen Tran travels all around the country providing free work-shops for schools and organizations.
Could it get any better?
Yes!
These work-shops aren't just a quick slideshow with photos, either.
They include step by step guidance on how to apply TransTape in the best way possible for your body.
And as long as you're 18+, Quyen will even help apply it 1-on-1!
This provides a safe space for learning as well as a space where people of the same community can come together and familiarize themselves with alternative gender affirming care.
People also have the opportunity to meet other people interested in the same thing or who are having the same problem! Or both!
And at schools, the faculty and staff are also more than welcome to attend so they can better understand and help their students.
